That looks like a pretty clean boat inside, especially the engine rooms. It would take a good survey but she appears to be well worth saving.

Agreed, fiberglass repairs are common here in FL and not all that expensive. The weatherboard is still made and available from Sam's, not super expensive. Two broken windows also not that big of a deal. I'm surprised they totaled this boat. All I can guess is if it was that year we had 3 hurricanes in a row, the adjusters were so swamped after the second one they were just totaling everything so they didn't have to manage repairs.

I’ve seen quite a few vessels have their engines destroyed by high winds blowing water up the exhausts, even way up the New River in Fort Lauderdale.
