1980 43' convertible shaft log hose

I'm looking for the size of the hose for the shaft log. Shafts are 2". I think the hoses are 3 1/2" but I'm not sure.

Recheck your numbers, Pending the stuffing box and log used, the hose will be close to 1" larger than the shaft.

going thru this now with my 38' shafts are 1 3/4".
for reference, hose 3" ID for the 3" shaft log

I was able to measure where the hose goes into the shaft log with a caliper and its 3.49" so the hose should be 3.5"
If I measure the hose on the outside its 4".

It's been stated before, but be sure and use stuffing box hose--replacing with standard exhaust hose makes a hidden future weakness.

Deep blue yacht supply has Buck Algonquin stuffing box hose , I just replaced mine .
