Getting ready to replace my zincs. Already ordered the prop shaft, rudder and trim tab zincs from Sams. Does anyone know if there is a flat rectangular zinc on this model? Sams wasn't sure and I am having a diver do the work in lieu of a haul out so I cannot see one if I have it.

While I am at it, are there any other zincs I should be ordering?

Thanks

Mine has one on the stern.....

When we were hauled out in 2003 was told by Land & Sea and one marina their manuals said it wasn't supposed to be there...As I looked at it....

But I replaced it anyway ! Forget what size it is and (sorry!) not about to jump into the "clean" St Johns River to measure it (afraid I might come out glowing).

My 73 doesn't have one. All I have is what you listed. Bill

Thanks Charlie, Thanks Bill,

I am hearing that some 43's had the rectangular zinc and others did not. Your different responses confirm this. I guess I am going to have to don the old wetsuit, snorkle and mask and go find out. Problem is, the Appomattox River in Virginia has about 3" of visibility but certainly better than turning yourself into a glowing nightlight. Thanks again for your feedback.

Transome zincs are normally through bolted. Taking into account your stern platform, you might be able to check for bolts on the inside of the transome.
