Hi. I am in process of replacing my rule shower box with pump in my 50' Hatteras sportdeck. I am not at boat and am wondering if that box should be 12V or 24V? Does anyone have similar boat that would know correct voltage? I am also looking at replacing my puck recessed halogens with LEDs, should I be going with 12 or 24V? Thanks much!

I can't be sure of the sump but the lights should be replaced with the ones that fit a range. We use imtra lights for most of out customers and they range from 12 to 40 volts usually. I can install them in almost any boat and the power supplies from ac to dc work great too.

No way of knowing. It could be 32v as well. You need to know what your vessels operating voltage is. Many boats have 32v, 24v, and 12v as different parts were upgraded by various previous owners.

The model brochure indacater "2 24 volt banks.

It’s the voltage you don’t purchase

Some are 24V overall and some are 24V only to the starter and 12V overall. Everything on my boat is 12V except the starters. 2 8D batteries (one on each side) only ever get used to start the engines.

(on the 46, everything on the 34 is 12V)

Your purchase survey should describe the various DCv systems on board.
Your purchase survey may (should) include pictures of the breaker panels. Each panel is labeled at the top as to what voltages it supports.
In the event of a multi DCv panels, Your survey may (should) also include comments of what the multi DCv panels support.
IE; house 24Vdc, electronics 12Vdc
