Bob - yes it's a "Y" cleanout - you'll have to check at you local Lowe's to see what's available. As I recall I used 2.5 inch PVC because there was a greater selection of "Y"s and fittings. I think that the rake of the mast is the same as the slope of the windshield - about 45 degrees - thus a...

When the base of my mast rotted out, I made a temporary one out of PVC. I stiffened the mast with another PVC tube inside to make sure that the fittings didn't come apart. Pics attached.
