Tried to start Onan Gen. with a good battery, solenoid clicked motor did not turn, took out the glow plugs put in penetrateing oil in all cylinders over night, the engine will not budge at the pulley end, removed starter still will not turn with power bar. Does any one have any ideas? Cheers...

Can somebody help with testing a 32 volt alternator, when running at all RPM's I get no output on multi meter or dash guage, also when shut down no voltage at + lead on alternator, ign key on or off. My v8 71 has the old canister type oil filter housing the one with the 5/8 bolt what base seal should I use, the rubber o ring or flat paper one both come with the new filter, I used the o ring on port side engine and no leak,starb side with o ring leaked, all items were clean and true. Cheers...
