Tried to start Onan Gen. with a good battery, solenoid clicked motor did not turn, took out the glow plugs put in penetrateing oil in all cylinders over night, the engine will not budge at the pulley end,
removed starter still will not turn with power bar. Does any one have any ideas?

Can somebody help with testing a 32 volt alternator, when running at all RPM's I get no output on multi meter or dash guage, also when shut down no voltage at + lead on alternator, ign key on or off. Alt. is 2 lead + and - Delco Remy 32 volt 50 amp, 25SI and I think an internal rectifier.

My v8 71 has the old canister type oil filter housing the one with the 5/8 bolt
what base seal should I use, the rubber o ring or flat paper one both come
with the new filter, I used the o ring on port side engine and no leak,starb side with o ring leaked, all items were clean and true.

Position 3 STB 240 volt red indicator light does not light up when selected and shore power connected and working, I opened the AC main switching pannel found two 250 v 3 amp buss fuses blown, after replacing and repowering the two fuses blew again, does anyone have any ideas or experience with...
I have a steady leak port rudder stuffing box 58 MY, I can not tighten it any more. I took apart the drawer cabinet and can get at the large nuts, however the top of the post is supported by a box of plywood and if I take the stuffing nut off I can not see how to get at the shaft.

I had to rebuild GM fresh water pump, I'm sure I mixed up the plumbing

Good day, I am in the Solomons MD. my Jabsco raw water pump on the back of 8 71 motor is leaking out of the sling hole, does any one know where to get a seal kit in the Solomons MD. area. Thanks.

Has anyone rebuilt a Racor 900 fuel filter housing? I got the kit but was unabe to get the seal changed at the base of the plexi glass tube
I could not see how it was held together still leaks . I would appreciate any advice , and thank you in advance.

One of my turbos 8 71 is hard to turn over by hand
I am taking it off the engine but the exhaust side is very hard to
separate, so I soaked the joint in wd 40 and will resume
work tomorrow. I am hopeing the exhaust is coaked up and
will clean up. Am I on the right track?
