Tried to start Onan Gen. with a good battery, solenoid clicked motor did not turn, took out the glow plugs put in penetrateing oil in all cylinders over night, the engine will not budge at the pulley end, removed starter still will not turn with power bar. Does any one have any ideas? Cheers...

My v8 71 has the old canister type oil filter housing the one with the 5/8 bolt what base seal should I use, the rubber o ring or flat paper one both come with the new filter, I used the o ring on port side engine and no leak,starb side with o ring leaked, all items were clean and true. Cheers...

Has anyone rebuilt a Racor 900 fuel filter housing? I got the kit but was unabe to get the seal changed at the base of the plexi glass tube I could not see how it was held together still leaks . I would appreciate any advice , and thank you in advance. Cheers Stewart

One of my turbos 8 71 is hard to turn over by hand I am taking it off the engine but the exhaust side is very hard to separate, so I soaked the joint in wd 40 and will resume work tomorrow. I am hopeing the exhaust is coaked up and will clean up. Am I on the right track? Stewart
