I have 4 of these horns two 19" and two 16"
They most likely came with the boat in 1976.
They are corroded and need re-furbishing but made be fixable.
But I have no idea is they are Buells or someone elses.
Any help, Thanks

Anyone have a good experience with a insurance surveyor for an old Hatteras LRC. We will be at Jarrett Bay in a few weeks for our 5 year insurance checkup and some work. Always some work.

The rear seal on my port 6-71N is leaking into the Allison M30 transmission. It's now decided to leak enough to over fill the transmission fairly quickly (an hour or so). I don't know if I can run it very far. I am going to Jarrett in Sept. but thats a few hundred miles away. Any idea on bad...
We installed a new pulpit (rotted and crooked) and windlass last year. The pulpit came from Slane and windlass is a Maxwell RC12-12 for 1/2 chain. Jerrett Bay made a stainless shut to funnel the chain fairly close to the center of the chain locker. Works gr8 and is faster and stronger than the...

The project has begun. We took Skooch to Jarrett Bay last week in the fog and cold.
The bottom looked bad so we are going to blast the old anti-fouling off to good tie coat and build it back up. Big dirty and expensive job. But needed.
The bow pulpit is waiting at Slane's place for me to pick...
The bow pulpit on my 58 LRC was broken twice on her circumnavigation 1998-2004. It was repaired poorly. It seems strong enough and we have used it for a few years now, but it was repaired crooked and it bends down past the hull jiont instead of up. The Ideal windless works but looks badly worn...
My 1976 58 LRC has a small cockpit with two large hatches. When it rains real hard like all of June here in the Sassafras the hatches leak enough to fill the bilges so the pumps go on.
The small 3/8 hole drain in the trough around the hatches does not seem to carry off the water. They are clean...
