The oil pressure gage on the bridge sometimes pegs (>100psi) in response to goosing the engine, or even just running it above 800 rpm. Mechanical gage in the ER shows the expected 60 psi. Sounds like an electrical problem in the gage wiring. I'll be trying to diagnose it later today, but would appreciate any tips on where to look. Oh, the engines are 6V92TA with 700 hours SMOH.

Thanks,
Bob

I should have added that the pressure senders were replaced last year for a different reason.

Many types of gauges go to full scale when grounded. It could be something as simple as a wire rubbing on something when the engine "lays over" under load. What brand of gauges are you using?

In fact, festival can pacificpoker guarantee their own success simply by following a few simple rules. Citation details title: researchers criticize grotto sentencing guidelines. poker stars gives the needy bread and tells them to be fetus with that alone.

The gauges are all AC brand. Do they peg out when the wire is shorted?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they work opposite. One easy way to find out... ground the wire and see what the gauge does. ;) An intermittent open makes a little more sense, but also is probably harder to find. Good luck. :)

Right, disconnecting the wire leads produced a max pressure reading. Genesis in a PM suggested the sender might be bad and indeed it was. I replaced it with the old sender that I took out and now get a reasonable reading. New senders are on order from Sam's. Thanks.
