Hi , I just purchased some flexible hose with cuffs on the ends
As instructed I turned the cuffs on to the end of the hose until it bottomed out.
After installing the hose both ends leak. I was told not to use any type of sealer
is that wrong any tips of tricks to keep the hose from leaking
the leak is the cuff to hose not at the fittings the attach to

Thank You

I have used silicon, life-caulk, 4200, mostly any marine sealant that was in my kit at the time.
I glue them and let them sit overnight before installing to ensure max strength.

I have wondered if there was a fast drying glue but never pursued an investigation.

hope this helps

IMO, those cuffs are ancient technology. Buy smooth hose and life will be better. Vetus sanitation hose is arguably the best quality and no silly cuffs, glue or hassle. Plus it’s amazingly pliable and can make unheard of bends.

IMO Boston's right with a bullet. I did the same thing and also used the Vetus hose for my AC water lines. No issues and easy to work with.

do you use it on the vacuum side of a vacuflush?
i have pvc setup using the sealand hose on connection points. works great.
time to replace the hose and the sealand hose is always a nightmare to work with.

Techma heads. I’m sure as short connections between rigid pvc it would work just fine.
