Hi Everyone... Its been I while since I've checked in here.

We have a frozen Raw Water Seacock. Efforts to free it have failed. That, and we snapped the shaft connection the handle trying to open it.

I need to order new hardware and the Thru Hulls come in "regular" and "extra long" thread barrel sizes.

Does anyone know thick is the hull there?

I'm trying to get all of the parts delivered prior to going to the boat yard next Monday.

Lance's 58 is only 5/8th's of an inch there... Anyone recall from a recent yard experience what it is?

Thank You

5/8 is a good approximation. You are still going to have to cut some material off the thru hull .

Always get the long one since they have to be cut down to fit as part of the installation anyway. What's the cost difference to be worth the risk of waiting weeks for it to show up and then having to return it if it's too short? Different boats even of the same model from the same manufacturer often have variations in the layup. It's not an exact science. One guy's boat might be 5/8", another guy's boat that's 2 years older might be 1". The Chris-Craft Commander series is notorious for this, although it doesn't affect much because the variations range between ridiculously overdone and only slightly less ridiculously overdone. That's my .02 anyway, just get the one you know will work, you're taking a chance on the short one.

A new 45C came into the yard last month. Got some photos of parts of Hatts that hopefully NONE OF US WILL EVERY SEE ON OUR BOATS.

Not my boat.

Fire.
They where cutting it up for the Dumpster so I got a look at a few cross sessions.

That would be the forum controlling the size.
