How to fend boat off dock in winds

I added a few lines and fenders today as well. I like the roller balls I have been using. They roll up and down the pilings so you dont have to worry about the line length. Before we have a sure enough storm I want to put a rod through the top of the pilings to keep them from coming over the top if it gets really high. they are saying 40 knots max up here in Hernando with a worse case 3-5' surge. I doubt it gets that high. I think they are saying 1-2' down your way. Also looking at those extra large fenders. May work better than a fender board

Low tide eh? Crazy how low the tide is here near Sanibel. This is how low it gets in Winter with a front blowing 25mph + from the NE. There's hardly a breeze and you can't see any rotation movement in the clouds at all. So, what's pulling/pushing all the water offshore?

I took the Isinglass off the bridge just in case - but don't think it'll be that bad. Doubt I'll even bother to unplug the shore power.

More water than it looks like. Drops off quick. 6 feet deep at the props during low tide.

Been meaning to post this picture but keep forgetting

This is how I have the fenders set up on the face dock for the 116 i run. Fender is attached by a couple of lines going to the nearest cleat or piling to keep it in place fore and aft. Then I use another line on that piling to keep in place vertically. Regardless of the tide the fender is always in place. What I like about this is that we don’t have to remove fenders whenever we leave our home dock.
