10 anchors and 20 lines added to mine. Can I borrow the wheelbarrow to haul them back to the garage.

I'm worried about Jose way up here in CT. I watch the Navy site for planning my offshore tuna trips and they are very good at predicting conditions. They had the track that Irma took predicted 2 days before she hit. They have been calling for a close pass by New England since this past Tuesday. They are now calling for a direct hit mid-Long Island in the Tues/Wed timeframe and it's making me very nervous. Here's a link to their site. It gives you an expired certificate warning, but I've been using it despite that for years.

The numbers across the top of the page are hours out from now.

Looks like the difference with NOAA is the turn to the north NOAA is predicting in the next 24 hours. Navy prediction is for further westward movement before the turn. We will soon know who got it right.

Bob how's the tuna fishing been on these late season trips?

Bob, hope you fare as well with Jose as we did with Irma.

I got out twice in Aug, including fishing the eclipse - that didn't count though, as I told my wife it was only for scientific research. Fishing in general offshore has been sketchy at best. I managed 3 yft and a small bft on the first trip, but that was a 4 day 3 night long trip. The second trip we managed 2 nice yft, but again it was a 3 day trip for just 2 fish. I hope to get out again, but the wx has not even come close to cooperating.

I must be some kind of hurricane magnet.

Got out of Lauderdale 24 hours before Irma closed the airport. Flew to the NE.
Now Jose has me in the probability cone.

What part of the country needs rain?
I'll just fly there for a visit and bad weather is sure to follow.

I vote for Sam Francisco.

Seems we've been here before
