38' CONVERTIBLE-Series I (1968 - 1972)
It is harder and harder to find a really good Detroit mechanic who knows his stuff on old Detroit. I have 853 V naturals. I am OK until time for pulling injectors, timing the rack, etc. Anybody know of a solid, good guy. I used to call Willie out of Ft. Pierce but he doses not seem to want to answer his phone any more, probably because he knows me.

Maybe he retired. He has been a roiund for a long time and he keep saying he was going to. I hope that he is still with us.
 
I have been using Aaron's Marine Repair for the past couple of years-- 561-222-1032. He is DD certified and quite busy. Message box is always full. If you don't reach him the first or second call, try a text. He lives in Palm City. You are welcome to tell him Bob Kassal referred you.

I've been very happy with Randy Wassenaar Tropic diesel. He was referred by Bruce Morrison and I've been working with him for about 4 years.

He, as is true for most really good ones, is perpetually busy. His shop is in Tequesta but he lives in Hobe Sound. His # is 561-746-4668. Please let him know Peter Kodner referred you.

Try Ken Ruse in Daytona. I don't know if he will come that far, but if he does he is the best!!

Hey Mike, try Ron @ East coast diesel or Rob @ Complete diesel, both good on old dd's. Or you could buy a set of reman 450c's :)

Hey I kind of like my old 853 V's they are very good friends who have been with me for twenty two years. You may find the same relationship with those 671's who are now going to be your best friends...talk to them nicely
