  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
46' CONVERTIBLE-Series II (1981 - 1984)
Can one of you fine people direct me to a company from whom I may purchase a Turbine Housing for a 8926192R TURBOCHARGER TV7101 AR 1.23 8V92TI . I live Asia with no Tech. support.

Best Regards, P

I could probably fix you up I have the same boat and I have used turbos.

Maybe check with Derek first [Avenger]

I just got a Sherwood 1722c from Delco for about the same as they charge in one day.

Maybe I like the next day service from my local vendor even if I paid a few dollars more before shipping it was a wash in the end.

My response was for the pump post from krush. Now but got here is a mystery.

We can probably get a housing. Getting it to Asia is the part that looks complicated.

It is not as hard as it once was. Customs there is the issue. Value of the item and a invoice to go along and collecting. The guys i sent him to have experience i know they shiped to Bermuda and to the Ausies. Do not know about Asia. But a email to them will cure that.

Don't know where in Asia you are located but we lived in Mylasia for a while and if you can ship it there we found it to be very easy to ship there. Customs was very easy. We flew into Kuala Lumpur one time with 2 big bags of boat parts and we could not even find customs so we asked a guy where it was and he directed us to a door that when we went through it we were out of the airport and on the street, never found customs. Hi, thanks for the responses, shipping isn't an issue I have things sent from the states all the time. FedEx international economy is the best for the country I live in, which is Brunei, I'm from British Columbia. Customs here is not a problem, no tax on boat stuff, and FedEx here knows all my stuff is boat stuff. One issue which is getting worse rather then better, is fear of credit card fraud, identity theft and scams which are all blown out of proportion by banks, so now lots of companies in the US don't take non USA credit cards. and PayPal not wide spread. It can be a pain getting things here you cant just go down to the shop and get something. and parts end up costing more with all the shipping. But fuel is cheap, I can fill the boat for five hundred dollars, if I lived in the States, I wouldn't have problem with parts, because I would not be able to afford to put fuel it. Funny Eh!

I'll drop an email to that company Tim suggested and see what's up, but if anyone could put a housing in a box and try FedEx international economy (probably cost around 150 bucks). we can work out paying you before its shipped.

Thanks, Have a great Tomorrow, Suns already up here :-)

Okay, if you have a handle on the shipping I'll see if I can track down a housing on Monday... or in your case, Tuesday morning,... or Friday night,... or whenever it is over there.

Thank you very much

P
