Hopefully that gives you something to think about Mario. I could easily see fashioning teak supports that acted as cantilevers off the back, particularly in the corners where my supports seem most robust. I can tell you that my bridge deck is rock solid all the way to the edge, and I think with adequate support you could easily go another 3 feet out over the cockpit.

John, thank you! I have know doubt that your aft deck structure is solid! Great job. I'll keep all of this in mind when I start my project. Hopefully, a donor boat will show up soon.
