hello!
I want to remove the old air conditioning system in my boat.
is there someone here who has done it and maybe got some advice ,so I don`t fuck up? -:)

Ron

Ron,

What type of system are you removing?

I have to ask why as it will effect the boats value forever?

ASSuming you are removing original or equivalent split systems ACs, disconnect the wires, recover the gas then disconnect the two gas lines both at the condensors and air handlers. Remove the units.

These systems work pretty well, especially considering their age. It's a lot easier to maintain the old systems than it is to replace them unless you have a good reason. What's up?

Thanks for answers.
Pascal u got right.
It's not working and I want to install a new system.
Same with all the electrical wiring, main fuses and panels.
We have 220 v. In Norway and most of the original stuff is by- passed.
A friend of mine is rebuilding everything for free of charge incl. Material and components.

I have started a makeover to make this georgeous queen look the way she should.

I just bought a customized biminitop and a new windbreaker for the flybridge.
I pay 1100$.
Think it's ok.

I really need all the help I need..It's impossible to get the stuff I need in Norway.
And I lack the vocabulary on some items.
Thanks for your help.
I really appreciate it!

Also the guys here will give you all the help you can stand . Tim

Having spent time in Norway I think 4 AC systems is overkill. Now, a 450,000 BTU furnace is a different story.

Thank You!
Do you have his email?
