Nice looking boat. I like the look with no boottop. My boottop has pretty much gone underwater anyway with all the crap thats been added since 1979. I may do the same thing next time I'm out. Which model and year is that?

Bob, you could remove the "crap"? Or maybe you couldn't, wouldn't or shouldn't?

nice looking boat ....i don't see enough Zinks though i have 56' MY and on my boat there are 2 on each shaft and 1 on each rudder and 1-2 on each trim tab i can't remember now....just asking maybe i have too many????

Joe
1981 56' MY
Lake Gloria II

One per rudder, for certain, and for each shaft and trim tab. I'm not sure you need two each, but my boat is not as large as these.

She's a beauty! I'm a boot stripe guy myself, but to each his/her own. Definitely a prime example of a classic Hatt.

600' all chain anchor rode, 1800' light rope rode with 50' of 3/8 chain and a massive anchor for fishing the edge, 300 gal fuel bladder up on the bow, my fat ass, etc, etc. Call it "wouldn't".

Just remove and re-position your boot stripe the next time you have your bottom painted. That way it won't look like your boat is sinking. :)

Or just make it white like Jasper's and nobody will notice it.

Kinda like wearing suspenders and having my belt up under my armpits?

Added the white stripe after the hull re-paint. Since then, I think the boat looks bigger and fresher.
Someday will be for sale shortly.
Au$375,000.00

Really? Figured after the trans problems were resolved you'd be smooth sailing.

Nice looking boat Jasper. You almost hate to put it back in the water...

The boat is in perfect condition, that's not the reason for selling her.
We are moving from a waterfront home to the beach, so that means either selling Someday, or putting her into a yacht club.
After over 25 years of living on the water, with my boat a few feet away, I don't like the idea of travelling by car to get onto the boat. We found a great property on the beach and it's time to try a different lifestyle.
Cheers,
George

Don't be too eager to let go of a boat that took you a long time to sort out. Just my .02..

Yes, given this a lot of thought. We love the boat, but the Boys have left home and the fishing and cruising time seems to be getting less every year.
Thanks for the thoughts.
