Thunderbolt Ignition parts needed

Can anyone provide a good website/store to purchase Thunderbolt ignition (distributor) parts? Mine is a 1975 454 mercruiser that I am needing parts for.

I did a lot of work on those in the day and never replaced with Blunderbolt parts. I probably put more point and condenser distributors in them than I want to remember. If mercury has replacemet parts good luck getting a loan for them. I would look to a petronics or other aftermarket company to refit it.

capt. scott, do you have an account with donovan marine for your company? if so, they carry sierra parts. they should have what you need. next time you are there, ask for a sierra catalog. bigbill

Why don't you change to a MSD distributor/system and forget about changing the parts in an outdated system? MSD makes a marine version of the distributor that you need and it runs aroud 450.00. Good luck!

My hunch is that you are going to have trouble finding those parts...that's like the original thunderbolt stuff.

I get a lot of amodle parts fron jc whitney they have a web site that stuff looked that old.
