  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
45' CONVERTIBLE-Series II (1984 - 1992)
My son had been after me for a while to let him wakeboard behind the Hatt so I finally gave in and we gave it a go this weekend. Told him would let him try it once. He had a ball and could get some serious air off that wake! He is still going to have to be happy using his whaler for that most of the time. I attached a couple of photos as it was an unusual sight.

Very cool!
Speaking of cool, that's a nice dinghy on the bow. How do you get her down (and back up!)?

He has a boom on the starboard side right click view picture you can see the base of it ;)

Let him wakesurf...even better

These boats were made for wakesurfing. You don't have to go very fast to do that, just have a big wake. The diesel exhaust fumes, however, might not be all that great.

Yep we have a low profile davit on the strb side next to the dink. It kind of blends in so you can't really see it too well in the picture. We may try the wakesurfing like was mentioned next time. My son said that wake really looks HUGE when you are on the board.
