Oh, and I like old Hatts too. The new one's look like Carvers. I passed 2 new 72 MY's today. They were both looking at my old 53 with binocs. What does that tell ya?

I love the old Hatts but wouldn't be upset if someone gave me a new GT63. The MY's are pretty ugly.

I like the new look but why is the SPAM worse than ever?

One of the things I was hoping for with the updated forum was less spam - not more. We were surprised when it actually increased. We applied a couple of things on Friday to try and slow down or stop it - obviously they didn't help that much.

We just applied another mod which was on the old site which required a minimum number of posts before being able to put a URL link in a post. I remember that mod did help to reduce the spam when I applied it to the old site and we had not applied it to the new site until just a few minutes ago - so we'll see if that helps any.

The problem is, the more we do to stop the spammers, the more difficult it becomes for the real people to post and use the forum.

Hopefully we'll get it back to at least an acceptable level.
