It would be interesting and a learning experience to view these yachts on the hard, in the yard, to fully appreciate its hull designs and working gear so if members would be so kind as to post any photos of their HATTS in the yard, it would be appreciated by anyone doing some research to familiarize themselves further with these fine yachts.

Is the circled section referred to as 'prop pockets'?

No, you're just looking at where the keel ends and returns to the hull. Prop pockets are rounded areas in the hull...allowing less downward angle on the shafts.
