  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
45' CONVERTIBLE-Series I (1968 - 1975)
Is there any interest in a get-together in the Melbourne area? We traditionally bring our boat to Melbourne Harbor Marina for the annual Melbourne Art Festival. Was thinking it would be a great time and place to organize a get-together. This year, the weekend is April 23-25.

Any interest at all in a rendezvous in the area?

I think most everybody is still asleep. I'm guessing there would be a good deal of interest in that area, but then again, boatsb tried it a while back and didn't get much response. That was out of the Port Canaveral area, so maybe you'll have better luck.

I have a week in Vegas around then for a convention but may be able to make it.

There used to be a bunch of us at Harbortown but I keep selling them and now I have almost no one left. :)

What about Bob? :D

Scott,

It doesnt have to be that weekend...we can plan something later on -- up there if you want. The people who bought Steve's boat...are thay around? How about Kent? Bob? Roger?

I know there several Hatts on Cape Marina's B Dock.

There's a 45C in Grant "Legacy". A 43? MY "Wisdom" and a 36C in Satellite Beach.

We've got lotsa Hatts around, we just need to get them all together!

Steves boat went south to the Stewart area. The 43 DC that was by me just went to North Carolina. Kent is in Jacksonville and Bob has been out of town alot but may be around.

I have a kid and a dog so where ever we go they need to be kid friendly.

I can also check with some of the guys I know that went over to Ocean club.

OK so no one thinks my boat wont run it does. I can make a trip depending on the where or when but just as an idea.

My marina is pretty empty. 50% or less.

My dock is a ghost town lately. We have a pool. A restaurant, a BBQ and picnic area along with a large dog run area .....

We have down BBQ, smokers and boils here before. If they are still real empty in this area ( right by the bulkhead with slips from 40-60 foot ) just off the end of the parking lot I can see if they want to make a deal.

The owners are jerks but the staff is nice and we would have alot of room to put the boats next to each other.

Hey, I'm always up for a get together, so I'll probably be able to make it, but not by boat.

Harbortown is a very nice marina as Scott said, so I'm surprised to hear it's 50% empty as I know he hasn't been selling THAT many boats. So Scott, what's a 60' slip going for these days?

$11/foot plus electric

You can have Kents old slip.

The first 5 or 6 slips from the parking lot are empty (Both sides) and more people leaving.
