  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
58' TRIPLE CABIN (1970 - 1976)
by posting those giant photos of Obama's NON-ORIGINAL birth certificate. :D

It may be my computer, but I can't reply to his post on the Hussein thread.

I can't view the certificate. Maybe they took him for reeducation. I would love for stormy to give evidence on his claim that this country is not a majority Christian country as well.

I think big brother shut it down before we were able to expose their fearless leader of liars and lawyers.

By the way it doesn't matter if it is a christian majority or not. Freedom of religion is our right.

I'm pretty sure it's your "past" on this site that did you in "Sparky"...

Nah man, stormy posted some pics that were so big, I had to hunt all over the place to find the reply button. Check out the Hussein thread and you'll see what I mean. They blew the margins right off the chart! I don't even know how to post pictures that are that big. :D

I swear, I didn't do it! :P

I don't think I've ever claimed that. The USA is very much majority Christian, with about 77% of the population identifying themselves as one christian denomination or another. But it is falling dramatically. The proportion of the American population that can be classified as Christian has declined from 86% in 1990 to 76% in 2008, and down to with the highest percentage being Catholic (of which I am one).

The challenge to Christianity in American society does not come from other world religions or new religious movements (NRMs) but rather from a rejection of all organized religions. The percent of population identifying themselves as other religions has remained steady around 3%, it';s the "None" group that is growing. From 1990 - 2008, the nation's largest Christian group, the Catholics, gained 11 million, thanks largely to immigration and now numbers just over 57 million adult self-identifiers, but the Catholic percentage of the national population still fell from 26.2 percent to 25.1 percent between 1990 and 2008.

So, if you REALLY want Christianity to grow...encourage immigration. The existing population in America is dropping out of religion all together. So...maybe I need to rethink this pro-immigration stance I have. hahaha!

Stop using stupid browsers like Internet Exploder...get something decent like Firefox and it isn't a problem, it automatically resizes large pics to fit on your screen but gives you the option of seeing the whole thing. I never even realized it was that big, sorry. I do IT for a living and frankly I sometimes forget that the majority of the people may not have all the goodies I do. But seriously, consider alternate browsers, IE is the worst of the worst.

Absolutely! That is what our country was founded on and a value I very much uphold.

You speak with forked tongue! You said this country was not even close to a Christian majority, then went on a tangent about the Puritans etc...
Be careful or I will report you to Rush!

I did? Must have been 2/3 of the way done with a bottle of rum. hahaha! I know better...the USA is most definitely majority christian. The numbers are falling, but it still even qualifies as a Super Majority (just barely).

So why should we bring in more christians to keep the majority if religion is a freedom? Oh yea some like the taliban feel religious law can override freedoms if their G-d says so. Are you one of those maniacs?

I wasn't suggesting we should bring in more of ANY religion. I was being sarcastic, sorry that didn't come across well. I don't think my religion or any other has any place in government.

Why does "In God We Trust" still show up on all our currency?

Seriously, I'd like to know.

"In G-D we trust shows we accept the belief of the existence of G-D. It is the generic religious statement and it may not be the best statement to have in our government offices and on our money.

I used to have a sign at my old marina. "In G-D we trust. All others pay cash".

Exactly, it refers to a generic deity of some sort. And I agree, it may not be the best thing to have on our currency. It simply brings up the question...whose god do we trust in? Which is a question that cannot be answered.

There is only one God. :)

Thats right One G-D. and he is my G-d and yours is a false...........

There is only one God. :)

It isn't quite that simple. The world is not black & white. Even according to traditional Christian and Jewish beliefs, there ARE multiple gods. It is simply that the "Lord" says he must come first above the others...not that other gods don't exist. The Bible fully acknowledges that there are many/multiple gods. It even says so MANY times.

The Bible said:
Genesis 1:26
And God said, let us make man in OUR image.

Genesis 3:22
And the Lord God said, Behold, then man is become as one of US, to know good and evil.

Genesis 11:7
Let US go down, and there confound their language.

Exodus 12:12
And against all the GODS of Egypt I will execute judgment.

Exodus 15:11
Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the GODS?

Exodus 18:11
Now I know that the LORD is greater than all GODS.

Exodus 20:3, 5
Thou shalt have no other GODS before me. ... Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve THEM.

Exodus 22:20
He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

Exodus 22:28
Thou shalt not revile the GODS.

Exodus 23:13
Make no mention of the name of THE OTHER GODS, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Exodus 23:24
Thou shalt not bow down to their GODS, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

Exodus 23:32
Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their GODS.

Exodus 34:14
For thou shalt worship no OTHER GOD: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

Numbers 33:4
Upon their GODS also the LORD executed judgments.

Deuteronomy 6:14-15
Ye shall not go after other GODS, of the GODS of the people which are round about you;(For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you)

Deuteronomy 10:17
For the LORD your God is God of GODS, and Lord of LORDS.

Deuteronomy 28:14
Thou shalt not ... go after the other GODS to serve them.

Joshua 24:2
They served other GODS.

Joshua 24:14
Fear the Lord ... and put away the GODS which your fathers served.

Judges 11:24
Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess?

1 Samuel 6:5
Ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your GODS.

1 Samuel 28:13
And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw GODS ascending out of the earth.

1 Chronicles 16:25
The Lord ... is to be feared above all GODS.

Psalm 82:1
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty, he judgeth among the GODS.

Psalm 82:6
I have said, Ye are GODS.

Psalm 86:8
Among the GODS there is none like unto thee, O Lord.

Psalm 96:4
For the Lord ... is to be feared above all GODS.

Psalm 97:7
Worship him, all ye GODS.

Psalm 135:5
Our Lord is above all GODS.

Psalm 136:2
O give thanks unto the God of GODS.

Jeremiah 1:16
I will utter my judgments against them ... who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other GODS.

Jeremiah 10:11
The GODS that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

Jeremiah 25:6
And go not after other GODS to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.

Jeremiah 46:25
I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their GODS.

Zephaniah 2:11
The Lord will be terrible to them: for he will famish all the GODS of the earth.

John 10:33-34
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are GODS?

In Hinduism there are said to be 330,000,000 gods. For the Greeks, there are 12 main gods and goddesses (called Olympians) and the amount of the minor gods is uncountable. There are approximately 115 main/primary Egyptian gods but by the time the xtains/coptics had come along in the mid 400's there was record of over 2000 deities worshiped in Ancient Egypt but many had similar characteristics and appeared all over the country by different names. The Romans believed in 15 gods.

As far as I'm aware (and I do consider myself a basic scholar of all worlds religions, I find it fascinating), the only fairly large religion that can claim there is only one god is Islam.

Father, forgive him, for he knows not what he posts.

AMEN!!!! I hope!:(
