Yet another climate change "Oops!"

Since it's reported by Fox News, it can't be true, but here's yet another clue that the policy of "climate change" isn't be driven by real science:

The head of a panel of United Nations climate scientists said Saturday he would not resign despite a recent admission that a panel report warning Himalayan glaciers could be gone by 2035 was hundreds of years off.

2035, 2350, it's probably just a typo, no reason to change our thinking over a typo!

In the 70s we were told by the science experts the earth was headed for a cycle of global cooling, this was covered by Newaweek Magazine and the NY Times. Now 30 to 40 years later we are warned about global warming.

In 40 years the science experts have changed their minds. This would raise some large questions about a prediction for weather more than 300 years from now.

Weather is the thing that is predicted wrong often.

There is science and then there are scientists.

Scientist have opinions, science is the serch for the truth.

Opinion many times has nothing in common with the truth.

Seems the typo/bad data was used for other things, including getting grant money.

Assuming reports are accurate, Mr. Gore has profited to the tune of $100M, not including the $1M for his Nobel Prize (I did get one of those prizes with my most recent 'executive car wash', but all I got was a rag to clean my interior)!.

Canada used to have 600 weather stations feeding data to NOAA including surface temps. Now they have only one above the artic circle feeding that data. Temp monitoring stations are increasingly being phased out in higher mountain ranges and being more and more put at sealevel and on airport tarmacs. Guess why? It all comes down to the almighty buck which Gore has made a science of collecting. The econuts are finally being found out for what they are however- frauds
