Yard recomendations for Bottom Job

Well, it's time for Spincycle to have the bottom redone, running gear blasted and re-painted, etc, She is moored up in Clearwater, Fl. Any yards you would recommend around where i am located? I was not looking for a long trip just to have the bottom done. just wanted yards within a four or five hour trip.

John Orm is one of the best. He is located in Tarpon Springs. He is the most honest I have ever met. He will do a great job at the best price. I havew done 2 boats with him and at our marina many of them use him. (Marker One Marina)

I'll get the phone number this weekend. I have it on the boat. He is at a business called Pelican Marine I believe. He did my 53 foot Hatteras and did a great job.

Try Embree Marine in St Petersburg. Ran my 52' up from Boca Grande this summer for some keel work, bottom job, electronics, etc. They did an outstanding job! Talk to Chad or his father Bill (owns a 42' Hatt) and tell them what you need --- you won't be disappointed.
