54' EXTENDED DECKHOUSE (1989 - 1992)
Had spincycle's hull detailed when she was out for a bottom job, now i am looking to get the topside detailed. does anyone know a good detailing crew in the clearwater /st. pete area? and what is the going price per foot for a complete topside detail, stainless rails, no brightwork.

Had hull polished for $800 and about another $800 for topsides on a 53. YMMV

Wow- does that crew travel? Just finished my topsides (myself). For my local professional crew, the hull is $650 and rubrail up is $2,500. I like to do a winter/ pre launch detail and another rubrail up detail about August. 16 ounces of liquid 3000 grit, 16 ounces of 3M Extra cut, and 16 ounces of "special sauce" liquid polymer run $100.

Good tunes Noel!
I have crew contracted to wash once a month top to waterline ($300) and wax 3 times per year ($850) using all Awlgrip products. I supply material. Its a woman and her 2 sons and they do an impeccable job. She's moonlight's these jobs on her off days as an aerobics instructor and is a liveaboard in the area.

Have a diver do the bottom about 4 times a year as I can use every tenth of a mile I can get! :)

i own a 58 lrc and would like someone with experience to advise me on what to pay a diver to clean my bottom. anyone with personal knowledge???

My guy does the whole bottom for 70.00 and installs the zincs I supply for free. Plus I have him trained to rub vasoline on my underwater light. He does it every month.

I pay about $250.00 per bottom cleaning. Haven't had to change zincs this year, but assuming it will be about $10 each ( I supply the product). I also get a written report on Hull condition, barnacle growth and how the zincs look. Like I said earlier, about 4 times per year, those most of those are summer cleanings.
