I have posted on my wipers before...ended up having all three Trico Air Wiper Motors rebuilt by Dana Abshier of Abshier Manufacturing. Wanted to report to any interested that he did a great job and the motors came back looking brand new. However, upon reinstallation, I realized that another problem existed in the control valves. Mine are sticky and apparently they get rusted on inside and need new seals after awhile. Air can then pass right by and not get directed to wiper motor. I had noticed once before that during use a little moisture had dripped out of one (it is condensation from tank). Figured someone else out there may run into same problems I did so wanted to share the info. He rebuilds these valves too and this weekend I'm taking them all off and sending out to him. Install a water trap like those used on home or commercial compressors. This should catch any water and filter it out before it gets to the valves.

good idea...also, I drained my air tank this weekend....a TON of water was in there and alot of oily sludge as well. Not sure if that is normal but I assume so since air tank is getting pressurized by port engine.

Yah, whenever I drain mine I get a little water and it is usually black.
