  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
53' MOTOR YACHT (1969 - 1988)
I just put new wiper blades on my 53 MY. Is there a way to make the arms put more pressure on the blades? I tightened the screw that attaches the blade to the arm, but it still is very light pressure and part of the blade won't wipe.

Thanks,

Are the wiper blades straight, as in no suspension pivots just a stainless beam holding the rubber? You'll likely get better results with an arm that can work with a suspension type blade. Unless you can source a shorter arm spring or shorten the one you have or raise the pivot shaft, you're likely stuck with the performance you see.
