Well, it's that time again. 
Today was spent changing oil, zincs, AF.
Went to warm up the genny for an oil change. Battery dead. Go to car for jumper cables, trunk is soaked with 4" of water in spots. (
I went on a business trip this week and left my car at a valet park & fly, suspect the brain trust driving my car pressed the truck open button on the ignition key without knowing - it rained a lot last week)
Went to close my seacocks, one was froze open, tried to work it loose, until the handle broke off in my hand - envisioned Capt Ron saying 'gotta fix that boss'. Got it working with a pipe wrench bu need a new handle.
Ran out of pink & purple AF, rode over to Worst Marine, they bumped all their AF prices up a buck a gallon in the last 2 weeks.
Went to pump AF thru the macerator. Macerator blows a fuse every time I hit the button. Gotta fix that before a hard freeze.
Discovered engine oil transfer pump is burned out. Ever try to pump out 5 hot gallons of black oil by hand through a dip stick tube?
Tomorrow I get finish winterizing the water system, take down the canvas, clean out the closets & frig. Then try to fight off Seasonal Affectation Disorder until Spring.
