Hi Ross,
Just spent the better part of 2 hours making Ed work overtime at Sam's. He did get me straightened out, not only with all the goods but also with the tips and tricks to put in new glass both in sliding windows and windshields.
For windshields on our older boats you need a backing strip of butyl, a foam pad, some small eisenglass wedges, and a strip of grey vinyl blade that snaps into the outer edge of the frame. The sliding cabin windows need felt in each window slot as well as a tubular clear plastic strip also.
Give Ed a call. He has pictures of every model Hatteras and can even estimate your material quantities from them if you didn't have a chance to measure it out.
Cheers,
Richard
