PO "fixed" salon windows with silicone. Got them apart and cleaned up, but can't figure out how the glides, felt, etc go back in. A cross section would remove all doubt. I got replacement felt from Angie, but not nylon wear strips. Guidance? Thx in advance Mark

All those items (the fuzzy strips, the nylon rub strips) are available from Sam's. I doubt anyone else has them come to think of it.

Yes, Sam's does stock. Anyone seen an elevation cut on how the parts fit together? It appears PO put windows in backward and when they leaked used silicon to seal them up. I am trying to restore to original functionality.

Hello, I think there is a cross section of the frames and parts in the tips and tricks section. In any case the glide strip snaps in place in the bottom track and fuzzy strips slide in channels on either side of the glass. Hope it helps.

Thanks Walt. I'll go look in trips and tricks.

Note to any one thinking of doing the "Silicone" fix..... you will be hated.

I took my side windows out in the winter to fix them, getting all of the old fuzz the and glide out was the hardest part. Some of it pulled right out and some an inch at a time with needle nose pliers.

I thought I read somewhere that their also was a nylon strip for the window to slide on. Did I dream that?

Yes there is a glide that snaps into the bottom of each channel.

That's gone missing, so I guess I'll call sams
