Good morning Hat owners! I wonder if anyone else has had this situation:The paint on our upper deck is peeling in places. Not sure how long ago, but the boat was painted on Awlgrip some years ago. My concern is this - might rain water begin to soak into the deck if I don't repaint it pretty quick? IOW, will any unpainted surface below the peeled paint soak up rain water? What are your thoughts?

No. The only way for water to get in is surface penetrations like cracks or screw holes.

X2. Only through cracks in the fiberglass
