Our old windshield shade uglied out.. so wifey made a new one. Phifertex Plus in Navy. I bought the special punch for twist lock fastners.. made the job easy peazy!

Ron, I can barely afford her labor rates!... but all in, I spent $217 for fabric, thread, and fastners.. all from Sailrite. The punch was an additional $69.. but you cant have too many tools!

I kept the wipers outside of the cover so it lays down flat. Just an idea for anyone else making one.

I did the same Sky. I did want some to turn on the wipers by accident and cause damage to the screen.

We used the old cover as a pattern and it was over the wiper arms. The few other boats at our marina with down stations are over the wipers, and it's a lot easier to install and remove not having to thread under the wiper arms, but you always could go under with this one, there is only about an inch difference in the length.
