Given that each filter change for me equals 4 Racor 1000 30 mic filters, I'm thinking it makes sense to buy them in cases. I'm curious where everyone buys theirs and what they're paying. Share, share. If I remember correctly, single 30 mic filters were about $25 last time I bought, but it was singles and not caseloads. I'm sure there has to be cheaper.

I have gotten mine on e-bay. You can find them single or by the case. I think I paid about less than 10 apiece when bought by the case.

I Ordered them from my supplier. either Lewis or Napa I don't remember. The 900 filters cost less than $7 each by the case.

I buy them and the Baldwin secondary filters at Mid-Atlantic Engine Supply maesco.com. Don't remember what they cost but it's around $11-12 each.

Jack,
I thought you bought them from me. :)

I got ten Racor 2020PM for $85 including shipping. shownfam@fairpoint.net

Other sites on ebay were cheaper by the case of 12.

Note you are in Lighthouse Point. Florida DD just down the street from Sam's in FTL was selling them for about 10 bucks or so last time I was there, about 6 weeks ago. Give 'em a call. BOW and Sailorman were in the 12's as I recall.

Jack,
I thought you bought them from me. :)
No, I get mine from you for free! Sorry I forgot I still owe you 3. I'll be ordering a case again this week.

Update:

1. I was WAY wrong on the price for singles at Boat Owner's Warehouse sans any discount -- $13.

2. I just bought a case of 12 for what worked out to just under $10/ea.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Sounds like their price is in the range by the caseload, and it's the most convenient store for me.

Just received mine today from marinefilters.com. Paid 8.49 each no tax plus 6.15 for shipping. Ordered filters Thurs. afternoon and received them here in NJ late this AM. First time using marinefilters.com and most likely will again.
