Hatteras Model
61' MOTOR YACHT (1980 - 1985)
OK, usually at this time of year we would have seen 10-20 posts already declaring everyone's intentions and plans for FLIBS. So far this year nothing, from anyone. CDR came and went and no posts or mention (unless I missed something). Now, no FLIBS posts. We used to moan about the lack of free tickets, who was staying where and what night people were meeting for drinks, yaks and so on. I have always read with envy because it always seemed I was jammed with appointments and couldn't attend.
Chatting with Sky and Airpilot last week, we all noticed the lack of FLIBS mention. Is our group the collective victim of the economy? Have we lost some energy? Whats up?

I'm not going to make FLIBS this year since I'm helping Robby move his boat. Otherwise, I'd be there. I'm actually flying into Orlando next Wednesday to take my boy to the beach on his fall break before turning around and flying back down to meet Robby that following Monday.

As for the CDR, no comment. :D

FREEBOATRIDE is attenting "CRIBS" this year...Capn' Randy's inwater boat show. ws

FLIBS is a national holiday in our house. I'll be there Thurs and Fri. Beer tent anyone?

I will be there on Friday and always stop by the Beer tent once or twice ;)

I may need to go to Lauderdale tomorrow to show a 67 foot MY. It's too early for the show but if I can get it pushed back I may get to visit the beer tent.

What else will be there to see?

:O

I'll be there fri and sat. Going to the Shooters Halloween party sat night. If youve never been its outrageous.

I hear a lot of the boats from the north are not going to make it in time. Something about being stuck behind a 70 footer named charmer......

Susan (Part No. 36-Long) and I will be at FLIBS on Saturday.

Chateau de Mer has just arrived Mile Hammock Bay and will not get to Florida in time. Hope everyone has a blast.

Hey Bob

I was there a few days ago... Anchored in Church Creek tonight (just past charleston)

Cheapest fuel right now is Osprey Marina just south of Myrtle. Paid 2.67 with tax a couple of days ago. Very friendly folks too and $1 a ft dockage!

Pascal, Church Creek is a great spot. I rarely pass it by without spending overnight. Thanks for the fuel info. I'll be in Southport tonight and plan to fuel at Osprey.

Bob
