I have a question about the build of Hatteras's hull sides.

In what year did Hatteras start using balsa wood cored hull sides in their convertibles? I have heard many different years prior to becoming a member of this great forum. I knew someone on here, more like multiple people would know the answer.

I know for a fact that 1978 was not cored and 1985 was cored. As for what specific year between there, I couldn't say.

Call hatt with your HIN and if they can find the hull diagram they might be able to tell you for sure
