What does your original Hatteras manual smell like???

After a terrible day at work, which is normal I could use a laugh. How old is your manual and what does it smell like?

After a terrible day at work, which is normal I could use a laugh. How old is your manual and what does it smell like?

My manual is of 1986 vintage for a 87 delivery by Stuart Hatteras. It was store in an drawer under the dinette seat midship. This area is right over my vacuflush components in the ER. After spending alot of time with it, I would describe it as a combination of aged salty heavy paper with a hint of the holding tank.

Mines original to the boat in 1979. It’s been kept high and dry. Smells a little like an old book.

I am not sure if I want to loose the smell, and it sounds like others have even better smells. Lol

We're still trying to get an owners manual for Pau Hana. Someone before PO discarded it, and Hatteras parts/service people aren't returning calls. To add to the joy, I'm still getting calls about the extended warranty on the car we sold a year ago. Anyone have an email address for Hatteras - not Sams?
