What can you tell me about 53MY353?

I'm taking a look at this boat later today. Name is now Top Shelf. HID 53MY353 Anyoene know anything about her? what can you tell by the HID?

Thanks...alerady printed it out. Was hoping somebody might be falimiar with her. According to the documentation history, her previous names were:

- YM53 (I assume the factory "name")
- Sea flight
-SAN'LO
- Tango

The owner previous to the current one was 'Tango of Key West Inc' so she might have been a charter or simply "owned" by an LLC for tax pruposes.

One question...based on the HID being 53MY353, would she be Hull Number 353 or 53 or 35? I can't imagine there were 353 Hatteri (Hatterasses?) 53's made by 1971?

hull nr is 353, i dont' know/remember how Hatteras assigned HIN but it doens't have anything to do with the production nr for one model.

Appears to be the same boat sold in Feb 2004 for $174,000. in Ft Lauderdale. Galley redone, 871N power, for sale now asking $135K located in DC. A good look see will tell the tale. It would appear that the seller is motivated.

Be aware that an older 53 can be an expensive boat to own and update.
