My buddy and wife now have a contract on their house and should be closing in the very near future...
They ARE going to be buying a 53' Hatteras (He's the local Commander of the Power Squadron and they have been boating most of their lives) although the 58' isn't out of the question..... And become full time liveaboards.
They have been looking at what kind of boat they wanted for years now... I told them WAY BACK THEN to look at the 53'....... But they had to look at all the others to make sure what it was they wanted.....
And the 53' Hatt has won.......
I HAVE told them they need to buy a boat from "up north" or on the west coast of Florida.... But only because I'll be the capt on the trip while showing them how to dock/undock and stuff.... So don't want one that's too close.... I prefer a several day trip at least......

Have them take a look at the 53 on ebay that "was" at Demopolis.It was on ebay.We are going up there this weekend.Boat was damaged during the April storms at Tuscaloosa and is on the hard.They can call me if they like 2 five 1six 1 0two six 11.Robby Ps its a 7 but could be a 10.

There is nice 53' ED in Jacksonville area named "Dream On". We looked at it during our original search on determining the specific Hatteras model to zero in on. It was a very nice boat...well loved.

They have been checking yachtworld and every site for over a year...... Plus they have a good broker (Mike Webster) who has been helping them for over a year now...
and it will be a cash deal.............
