Hatteras Model
45' CONVERTIBLE-Series II (1984 - 1992)
I have a 45 1987 SF. It has a Freezer locker on the Port side of the cockpit. I had this and my prep station on the Starboard side glassed in. This was done about 3 months ago and all of a sudden on the Lower inbound side on the freezer where it meets the cockpit deck I am weeping water, as it seperated the newly installed glass. I was very careful to make sure that all pieces where sealed when we had a dry period as I live in S. Florida. The weeping seems to have a yellow tint. I have checked the water lines in the engine room and there is none that would cross the path of the breach. Not sure if its water or can the freezer be leaking chemicals at this location. Confused... Any help??????????????? Thanks Gina Marie.

Yellow tint= wood juice Did you install any kind of dead air space vent?

Sweat. Need ventilation!!!

what about the drip pan on the freezer???

I also have a 45c with the portside freezer and I got quite a bit of water that would run out from beneath it, although it was clear. Installed some ventilation grills in the cabinet and this eliminated most of that problem. I still get a little bit from time to time on these extremely hot and humid Florida days. It's probably condensation.

Thanks will vent and see what happens. Gina marie
