I think Sparky is on to a good thing. I wanted to post this one to put a smile on some of your faces.

A husband and wife came for counseling after 20 years of marriage.
When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a passionate, painful
tirade listing every problem they had ever had in the 20 years they had been
married. She went on and on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness,
loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable, an entire laundry list of un-met
needs she had endured over the course of their marriage.

Finally, after allowing this to go on for a sufficient length of
time, the therapist got up, walked around the desk and, after asking the
wife to stand, embraced and kissed her passionately as her husband watched
with a raised eyebrow. The woman shut up and quietly sat down as though in a daze.

The therapist turned to the husband and said, "This is what your wife
needs at least three times a week. Can you do this?"

The husband thought for a moment and replied, "Well, I can drop her
off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, but on Fridays, I fish."

Great timing Larry as the wife of 17 years and I are meeting with our female marriage counselor this afternoon. Seems this lady in your story and I have the same complaints, so maybe the outcome will be the same with the exception that my wife doesn't fish. :D

Sounds like somebody went over the wall... (!)
Man, when I was taking my EX betrothed to the counselor, we'd get all heated up about
"whats that friggin' boat got that I dont have..." I merely went home and dialed 969 0300 --- my attorney. ws

Hey everyone... I know the answer to yachtsmans Ex's question. The Hatt Trick has Two Detroit Diesel (sorry Randy) 12v71N-s. They look really purdy!!!! ppat

It takes duct tape and tie wraps to keep my wife of 38 yrs quiet.....

Or 3 beers......

... and hopefully, NO ONE wets the bed LOL... ws

So much for that idea.

When my wife and I were first dating, I took her to the Norwalk boat show first place she looked was in the ER. Went in the ER on a 47 Cabo and she said to me " Its so tight in there, how do you work on the outboard side of the engines?" That's when I knew I had to marry her. First time she went out on the Hatt we had 20kt winds and 6 ft seas. She asked me why everyone else was heading in so early on such a nice day. How could I not marry her?

Yeah, well when I married my wife, she promised to love, honor, and scrub my boat. I knew I should have left that damn obey in there, but how was I to know?

Marriage counseling is great, ain't it?

You get to re-live all those great kicked in the balls moments, condensed into an hour for your convenience. Funny how my wife used to like boats before we got married, and I used to like women. I came into it with two boats, but I've got a feeling I may not get out of it with two. :D

I guess that's what heppens when she stops liking boats and you stop liking women :D

Flew in Sunday at noon. Fly out today at 4. 74 appointments in total. No time for fun. I wish I had a night to relax but the vendor meetings and crocktail parties with hotel food is not as relaxing as smoking a stogie with a grand Marnier in a nice cigar bar.

By the way what happens in Vegas can stay here. Other than the party at hard rock ( rehab) the whole area is quieter than last year.

Boatsb,
Are you in Vegas for NAB? If you are and want to see some really cool video compression technology, visit with my client, Broadcast International at the LV Convention Center. My friend that works at Intel met them on Monday and thought their technology was awesome. Video compression using multiple codecs that is software based. Puts all those hardware companies to shame.

Thanks I will do that. I am here for the show and have found it to be not so well attended. I am making the rounds better than in years past.
