  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
41' DOUBLE CABIN (1962 - 1965)
Bought a land yacht three years ago and looking to spend a month or three on the coast this winter. I’ve seen a few on my travels but hoped someone in these areas might be able to make a recommendation.

I’d prefer The Panhandle or east central Florida but want to be on the coast.

And so do all of the snow birds. Getting a spot on the coast is competitive but you probably knew that. Planning way ahead, as much as 6 months to a year depending on the spot will be the norm for shoreline State Parks and some others. I've used RV Trip Wizard for planning with good results. People leave reviews that can be quite helpful.
Santa Rosa RV Resort in Navarre was pleasant enough. Coastline RV Resort EAST (not West) was ok by us but as I recall the RVs were "back in" closer to the shore (duh but it works for 5th wheels I suppose). Been a while though. It is close to the bridge and St. George's Island. We were in the State Park on the island and enjoyed it. I seem to recall State Parks have term limits of a couple of weeks so I'll skip over them. They can be difficult to schedule due occupancy as well as limits. We think people migrate between sites to skirt the duration limits. Either that or they take on the "camp ground host role".

No doubt finding a spot will be challenging. I’ve passed by that one in Navarre several times by boat, and it looks pretty nice. Also saw one in Port Canaveral that looked nice.

I’m hoping the snowbirds go father south where I have no desire to be.

We've seen the license plates everywhere.

But, aren’t you a snowbird too?
