Water Tank Hose

Has anyone ever replaced the interconnecting hose between the two water tanks? I have two tanks, one under the master cabin bed and one under the guest cabin bed. Other than the small access panel in the master cabin closet, it seems impossible to get to the connection underneath the master cabin tank.

Major surgery that will require opening or enlarging access hatches. I have a small leak in my under floor tank near the hose, or maybe the hose itself and I ve been putting off the repair. It s small enough to only leak when the transom tank is close to full... but will have to get in there at some point...

The tanks in my 52C are also under the Master and guest S/Rs and I can't find a way to access the connecting hose at all. I bet there's a lot of crud in the bottom of that hose - as the lowest point.

I was hoping they ran the hose through the mid bulkhead on one side and back on the other, but no. Then, you could put a valve in the middle and solve any listing by filling only one side.
