wash down hose fittings

I am replacing the quick connect washdown bibs with regular wash down faucets. I removed the old one, and can't get a good connection with the connecting hose that goes into the boat. I have tried NPT male threaded adapters and MHT adapters, and neither work well. Does Hatteras use BSPT fittings, or something else?

Mine were Qest fittings, you can find them online or at mobile home supply dealers.

Everything on my boat was 3/8 copper with flared connections.

Do you have the quick connect female side that the hose connects to. I'd be interested in purchasing if as long as you are getting rid of the other ones that are attached to the boat.

I might end up with a few extra. I have 3 washdowns and 2 dockside connects that all have the male quick connect faucets on the boat. I have like 4 of the female quick connect adapters to attach a hose to, 2 male, 2 female. I am keeping some of the quick connect faucets for like the dockside inlet, etc. So, once I switch out the few I am changing, I will see what I have left over.

That's okay. I wasn't aware that Sam's had them again. The last time I checked, they did not. I will just order one.

If Sam's were to run out again, I believe these are available from hydraulic line supply places. I saw the same female plug, with adapters on the other end to fit a "garden hose" style connector.
