why not buy a convertor and go 24 or 12 volt

Guess I could...

Just replacing them would cost less and be easier. Are they no longer in exstence?

Sadly the Facet & Walbro pumps in 32Vdc are not made any more. What is on the shelves (if any) are the end of the product.

We still have a 32V boat.
Years ago I started a 24V tap on the third (of the four) batteries (32V bank) and a 12V tap from the gen-set batteries. Between these two sources, our engine room options continue to be serviceable.

Great idea, I didn't realize you could do that. That is theoretically a solution to the entire 32 V, 24 V, 12 V issue...

NO. NOT A SOLUTION. A PROBLEM.

you can't draw off a bank unevenly without causing problems.

We just switched to a 12v facet pump to replace the mechanical transfer pump. In the generator manual it shows an electric pump install option. We tied into the hour meter for power and went with a 32v-12v step down convertor to the pump. Pump $17 Convertor $15
