want boredom? watch a sailboat "race"

So today was the "Mug Race" here on the ST Johns River... "The worlds longest river sailboat race"....

The power squardon helps supply "safety boats" so I was involved today.....

We were told to be "in position" by 10Am...... Which I was...

First sailboat "cruised" by at 2:45PM.....

Luckily it was a super day so we got to suntan, grill food..... Get in a nice nap........

But it's not the America's Cup..... More like watching paint dry, on a rainy day.....

But I did get a neat shirt and last Thursday they did give us free food and BEER......
