There seems to be some confusion, on my part anyway, as to whether or not these terrorists have been given public defenders as would be the case with most trials where the defendants can't afford an attorney. I've been told these attornies are representing these terrorists pro bono. That is not the same as would be the case with a public defender.
Sounds to me these types just want to take advantage of their 15 minutes of fame while securing a spot in US history. I understand that it's an attorney's job to defend his client in any way possible, but it's hard to see how anyone would voluntarily put themselves into such a position. Then again, if he pulls this off, there's not a libtard in the country who wouldn't hire him.
