There seems to be some confusion, on my part anyway, as to whether or not these terrorists have been given public defenders as would be the case with most trials where the defendants can't afford an attorney. I've been told these attornies are representing these terrorists pro bono. That is not the same as would be the case with a public defender.

Sounds to me these types just want to take advantage of their 15 minutes of fame while securing a spot in US history. I understand that it's an attorney's job to defend his client in any way possible, but it's hard to see how anyone would voluntarily put themselves into such a position. Then again, if he pulls this off, there's not a libtard in the country who wouldn't hire him.

They will probably have they're choice of some very good attorneys at no cost. It seems this always happens with high profile cases. I have no problem with the defense lawyers they're doing what the job demands. The problem is with BO and the gang for bringing it to a US court.

I agree Brian, but it's just hard for me to believe that these attorneys are going to work for free. One can only hope the IRS will crawl up their butts with a microscope to see if there was in fact payment made to handle these cases and where the money came from. I had assumed this would be like any other case where the taxpayer foots the bill for the defense.
