Saw that before. wonder what it can do flat out if it cruises at 60kts.

I think this is for someone with way too much money, ie the drug dealer that wants to haul ass and not show up on radar.

this boat has been out for a while now. too ugly and over priced. I think there is also a new one out,I saw it in Yachting the other day. deffinatly for a selected few.

When I read the thread title, I thought WalMart was now selling boats.

No, someone's selling go fasts with the "traditional" PT boat lines. Too "out there" for my tastes, but I prefer it to the euro-designs...oops, there I go again!

I mentioned this thread to my favorite billionaire at a party last night. He had been on the boat at the Monte Carlo Boat show where he was trying to unload his 105' Destiny. He had two observations:

1. If you want to go over 60 knots get a Fountain or Formula or something and store it on your real yacht. Boats do about 10 things. Pick what is important for the moment and get a boat that does it. Going fast with a place to cook and entertain is compromising between two of the things different boats can be designed to do really well.

2. This boat has two different power trains one of which requires a marine jet engine mechanic. Be prepared to sit still for weeks until you can fly that guy and the parts he needs into town.

My friend unloaded his 105 on the charter market and bought a 2005 64 Hatteras MY to tide him over until something inspires him.

I love my friends.
