  1. OWNER - I own a Hatteras Yacht
Hatteras Model
50' CONV -Series I (1966 - 1969)
Going through my brochures archive from when I was a kid I used to come home from the boat shows with bags full. Unfortunately I cut a lot up and had them on my bedroom wall

Can’t seem to get the photo quality I’m using google photos

What year do you think these are from? 1972 or so is my guess.

This is 1970 I found 71 and I know I have more but am still looking

Interesting that the 58 tc was more expensive than the yf now you can barley give a tc away

Probably more expensive to produce. That area over the cockpit on the YF would have to be closed in.

Just think, back then you could have bought a 53 Hatteras, run it for 10 years, then sold it at a profit. In the 80's all of the 53's from the '70's were bringing around $250K.

My dad made money on every boat he owned back then. He bought a 1975 43DC, ran it for 5 years and sold it for $25k more. Of course, interest rates were 20%, inflation was through the roof too, but diesel was 69 cents at the fuel dock.

How times have changed.
